As a Data Operations Graduate, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Data team through various operational and administrative functions.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn Xapo’s data processes from the ground up, initially through hands-on manual execution. Your ultimate goal will be to leverage this foundational knowledge to improve efficiency and scalability, using cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI and AI Agents to drive intelligent automation within the team.

Responsibilities: Operational & Administrative Support

• Manage and triage the Data team’s JIRA board, ensuring tickets are accurately assigned and kept up-to-date.
• Oversee Looker user permissions, including license allocation and periodic access reviews to ensure compliance.
• Compile and share regular project and performance reports with stakeholders.
• Conduct administrative follow-ups with internal teams to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.

Intelligent Automation & Reporting

• Monitor dashboards to track key operational metrics, including data quality, observability, and governance.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement automation solutions using AI tools to streamline workflows, automate reporting, and enhance productivity.

Xapo Device Policy

All consultants must comply with the Xapo Device Policy, which governs the use of approved corporate laptops under:

• Corporate-Owned, Personally Purchased Device (COPPD) – reimbursed up to $1,500, or
• Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled Device (COPED) – personal device with enforced security protocols.

All devices must: Meet security standards and enroll in Mobile Device Management (MDM). Adhere to Xapo’s data and compliance policies.

Note: Onboarding cannot proceed without full compliance. COPPD devices remain Xapo property (with buyback options upon exit), while COPED users consent to corporate data management, including mandatory data wipes.
