Job description

Requirements

• Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and coaching a design team and leading a design vision • Experience working in a regulated industry - strongly preferred • Strong grasp of various design processes, including iterative design (using wireframes or prototypes), journey mapping, design thinking, product design • Extensive experience of creating exceptional digital experiences for users and communicating complex concepts to users • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions, give and receive constructive feedback and influence positive outcomes at all levels. • Proven experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team, and in the end-to-end design process, taking complex projects from discovery through to delivery and ongoing improvement, including user research • Experience working in an agile environment, and be comfortable with fast paced environments and conflicting priorities • Willingness to adapt and change as we learn • Pragmatic rather than purist in application of UX principles and frameworks • Understand software design principles and collaboration with engineering
